24 Oct - Arrive Cochin, transfer to 4-star hotel.
25 Oct (B,D) - This morning we visit Athrapally Waterfalls for a technical shoot before departing for Munnar 4 hours away. Munnar is known for its cool climate and one of the leading tea production cities in India. We check-into the luxurious Panoramic Getaway Hotel before visiting Echo Point for an evening shoot. Overnight in luxurious 5-star hotel.
26 Oct (B,D) - We wake up early morning for our ride to the highest tea estate in the world - Kolukkumalai Tea Estate, for a breathtaking sunrise. We then visit the Tea Factory to learn how tea is made and classified and spend some time photography the local tea harvesters as well. Return to our hotel for breakfast before checking out and departing for Thekaddy, the cultural heart of Kerala. Here we will visit a Cultural Center to photograph a Karthakali performance as well as Kalaripayattu - a deadly ancient form of martial arts. Overnight in comfortable 3-star resort.
27 Oct (B,D) - After breakfast, we transfer to Alleypey where we will board our luxurious house boats, which will bring us cruising down the backwaters of Kerala. We spend the day photographing the backwater activity from our houseboat as our staff ensures a most comfortable experience. There is also time for a photo critique and sharing session to ensure your photography is progressing in the right direction. Overnight in luxury houseboat.
28 Oct (B,D) - Arrive back in Alleypey by morning and transfer back to Cochin. Enroute we stop by Malari beach where we can photograph this lively fishing community. We also stop by St Andrews Basillica Church for a short architectural shoot. Last but not least, we photograph sunset of the local Chinese fishing nets, a relic of the past that was brought about by the early Portuguese traders. After a tasty local dinner, we transfer to our day use hotel for a quick wash up before departing for the airport for our return flight back to Singapore.
29 Oct - Arrive back into Singapore by early morning 0600 hrs.

I must admit that my recent trip to West Java was fairly relaxing and easy going as well.
Facing the Indian Ocean, the coastline of Sawarna offers fascinating and stunning scenery for
seascape photography during golden hour – the times around sunrise and sunset. However, the most
challenging task is to secure firmly the camera and tripod on rocky and undulating grounds.
I was completely overwhelmed by the sheer beauty of magnificent waterfalls in Ciletuh Geopark. Diehard photographers can spend hours at the various waterfalls to try out and experiment creative options in composition, lighting and mood at different high-low vantage points. Throughout the trip, participants were in high spirits and felt well-rewarded with many wonderful shots. Adrian, you had again done an excellent job in fulfilling our dreams of an ideal photographic trip. Thank you.
This is about my 6th trip with SgTrekker and i\’ve enjoyed all the trips – i like the comaraderie with the various groups (always punctual), fun, food and decent to luxurious accommodation, . Adrian ensures that we are well-fed with good to best local food, and he patiently ensures all our different dietary requirements. Besides bringing us to interesting and scenic places and an element of adventure, there\’s also a balance in knowing about the culture, food and people. Lake Baikal has been an adventure for me as i always wondered if i\’d survive the extreme cold. Thankfully, Adrian briefed us well, and so we were prepared and survived. This is another trip with fond memories and thanks to Adrian for his generous sharing of tips and tricks and ensuring that we all get some good shots to bring home.
I have travelled with SG Trekker several times and Adrian has been meticulous in his planning and welfare. His places are varied and cater to every genre of photography. His instruction of what gear to bring along to a certain place to shoot is concise. We always have great fun in his workshop and is quite ensured that the trip will be filled with photos returning home. He will stake a lookout for newbies and guide them along. Will I join SG Trekker again- YES.
