1 Mar, Fri - Arrive into Lima late evening, transfer to our hotel at Miraflores. We'll have a short briefing about the itinerary to come and retire for free & easy after a long flight. Overnight in luxurious 4-star hotel.
2 Mar, Sat (B) - Depart for Paracas at 0300 hrs with the luxurious Cruz Del Sur. Arrive into Paracas by 0730 hrs where we will start our Ballestas Island tour. Known as the Galapagos of Peru, this exciting tour starts with a private boat ride out to the outlying islands where we will photograph all manner of birds and mammels such as walruses, sea lions and more in its natural habitat. Return to the mainland by 1030 hrs for our transfer to Nasca where we depart via 4-seater Cessana planes for an overview of the mysterious Nasca Lines. Return back to Paracas by 2030 hrs. Overnight in luxurious 4-star seaside resort.
3 Mar, Sun (B,D) - Late morning, we transfer back to Lima. Today, we take it slow, visiting the excellant Larco Museum with its informative Inca exhibits before ending the day with a blue hour shoot at Plaza Major. Overnight in luxurious 4-star airport hotel.
4 Mar, Mon (B,D) - We depart early morning via domestic flight for Cusco, a vibrant cultural town south east of Lima. Cusco was once the religious and administrative capital of the Incans before being overrun by the Spanish. Upon arrival, we transfer via private bus to the amazing salt mines of Maras. We spend a few hours photographing this marvel in morning light before continuing into Ollantaytambo, the heart of the sacred valley (3400m). Check-into our comfortable 3 star grade hotel and take our time to explore this quaint little town.
5 Mar, Tue (B,D) - Early morning, we take a short brisk walk to the train station nearby for our transfer to Agua Calientes, the entry town of Machu Pichu. Here we bus up to Machu Pichu as we explore the various ruins. Our photography guide will be on hand to show you the best vantage points to photograph this ancient monolith. By late afternoon, return back to Ollantaytambo where we have a cultural dinner showcasing the exotic foods of Peru. Overnight in comfortable 3-star grade hotel.
6 Mar, Wed (B,D) - The morning is free to explore the central market of Ollantaytambo before we check out and transfer via private vehicle back to Cusco. Arrive back at Cusco and check-into our luxurious 4-star hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free and easy to explore the Plaza de Armas of this beautiful town. Our photography instructor will be on hand to demonstrate how to photograph and merge time lapse photos to create an interesting tapestry of images. Overnight in luxurious 4-star hotel.
7 Mar, Thur (B,D) - This morning, we depart early for our excursion to the outskirts of Cusco. Start with a panoramic view from Chirst Blancos before visiting the village of San Blas, where we photograph an old medieval town. End the day at the Sun temple where we explore this sprawling complex before a blue hour shoot in the evening. Return back to our hotel by evening for dinner. Overnight in luxurious 4-star hotel.
8 Mar, Fri (B,L) - Today we transfer to Puno, the gateway to Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world with Wonder Bus Expeditions. Wonder Bus provides a luxurious and comfortable tour through the sacred valley, stopping by at various attractions such as the beautiful Sistine Church of Andahuaylillas and various ruins. Arrive into Puno by 1730 hrs and check-into our 4-star hotel.
9 Mar, Sat (B,L,D) - We depart early morning at 0700 hrs for our Lake Titicaca excursion via private boat, visiting the unique Uros Islands and its charming community. Uros Island are small floatable islands made completely of reed. 4-5 small families live together and each 'island' is heralded by a president. We then continue onto to the charming Taquille island for majestic panoramas of island life and a delicious local trout lunch. Return back to Puno by 1700 hrs for a quick wash up before our blue hour shoot of the Plaza De Armas. Dinner will be a sumptuous roasted chicken in a local restaurant. Overnight in comfortable 4-star hotel.
10 Mar, Sun (B) - After breakfast, we depart at 0700 hrs for our crossing into Bolivia via the border town of Copacabana. Pending documentation and the queue, we should arrive into La Paz by 1500 hrs. The rest of the day is free and easy to explore the famous San Francisco Church as well as the Central Market. Overnight in luxurious 4-star boutique hotel.
11 Mar, Mon (B,L,D) - Packing our breakfast, we transfer to the airport for our domestic flight down to Uyuni, the gateway town to the famous Uyuni Salt Flats. Upon arrival at Uyuni, our private 4WD transport (4 to a vehicle) will pick us up at the airport and commence our tour. Spend the day photographing the largest salt flat reflections in the world at Uyuni (pending weather) as we play with various photography perspectives. Lunch will be a specially catered meal right in the middle of nowhere as we just lay out a 3-course meal amidst the reflections of the salt flats. Sunset promises saturated hues of golden orange as our instructor brings you to the best vantage points to photograph the sunset. Spend the night in a luxurious Salt Hotel, complete with ensuite toilet and hot water showers.
12 Mar, Tue (B,L,D) - Today, we venture further south into the Eduardo Avaroa National Park where we will photograph the diverse and breathtaking landscapes of this beautiful national park. Some of the highlights include the Red Lagoon with its famous pink flamingos, the Black Lagoon of Katal as well as the Green Lagoon of Verde, not forgetting the Geysers. Overnight in the best hotel in the area, a comfortable 3-star lodge.
13 Mar, Wed (B,L) - It will be a long drive back to Uyuni, arriving by evening time as we catch our domestic night flight back to La Paz. Upon arrival at La Paz, transfer to our luxurious 4-star boutique hotel for a wash up after a long drive the whole day.
14 Mar, Thur (B) - Today is a free day to explore La Paz at your own leisure. Wander off by yourself or follow our photography guide who will bring you to various vantage points up at Mi Telerifico. Assemble at 1500 hrs for a short trip across town to watch the famous wrestling Cholitas, a funny spectacle with a local flavour. Overnight in luxurious 4-star boutique hotel.
15 Mar, Fri (B,L) - After breakfast, tranfer to the airport for our return International flight back to Lima (not included). We should arrive by 0900 hrs where our private transport will transfer us to our Day Use hotel at Miraflores. Here we can leave our luggage and our photography guide will bring you to Lacormar, a great place to unwind and reminisc over our adventure the last two weeks as we have our farewell lunch. By 1600 hrs, transfer to the airport for our return flight back to Singapore. End of program.

Uzbekistan is one of lesser known countries in Central Asia which I long to visit since 2015. It is truly a beautiful country with rich historical past. Photographers will easily find many iconic hotspots and very impressive landmarks from north to south in Uzbekistan where they can indulge their passions in photography. Once again, Adrian had done a wonderful job – taking care of everyone\’s needs and comfort throughout the trip. With his expert guidance and dishing out camera\’s settings, I managed to bag some awesome and beautiful pictures. Big a thank you to you, Adrian! All team members had so much wonderful fun and laughter in the tour.
This was my first trip with SG Trekker. What a fabulous photography trip. Adrian planned the trip so we didn’t have to worry about logistics and made adjustments along the way depending on the weather so we could get the best possible photos. We all got great photos with his help and guidance of the milky way, star trails, Mt. Bromo and more. It is a tiring trip because of all the places that are planned to get the photos but it is worth it. The other photographers were wonderful and some are already planning trips together. The trip exceeded my expectations. I hope to join more trips with SG Trekker and highly recommend you take a trip with Adrian!
