12 Sep - Transfer to Surabaya. Free & Easy.
13 Sep (L,D) - Transfer to airport for domestic flight to Banyuwangi. Arrive Banyuwang and proceed for lunch. Pending availability, we will check-in/luggage drop at our hotel before transferring to Benculuk for photo shoot. Benculuk is a forested area with overgrown teak and Salak trees that look like a scene out of a fantasy movie. Here we will organise a conceptual model shoot. The evening Sunset will be at nearby Cacalan Beach.
14 Sep (B,L,D) - Today we board the boat at Muncar for the exciting Petik Laut festival. Feel the adrenaline rush as we witness a hundred fishing boats of all size and colors rushing out to sea at the same time. The boats are decorated with all manner of local superstitious artefacts and provide a stark contrast to the azure blue of the ocean. After an hour out at sea, return back to Muncar bay and proceed for Lunch and afternoon rest at hotel. Our sunset shoot will be at a local beach area.
15 Sep (B) - Morning shoot at Pantai Santen, a great place for human interest photography as we document local fishermen bringing in the morning catch before heading out to sea. Late morning will be spent at the nearby Chinese temple practicing panning and long exposure street photography. Learn how to use filters to achieve certain creative effects in your street portraitures. Brunch is Nasi Pecel at a local restaurant before heading back to the hotel for a final wash up and check out. Transfer to the airport for our return flight back to Surabaya where we catch our return connecting flight back to Singapore.

Uzbekistan is one of lesser known countries in Central Asia which I long to visit since 2015. It is truly a beautiful country with rich historical past. Photographers will easily find many iconic hotspots and very impressive landmarks from north to south in Uzbekistan where they can indulge their passions in photography. Once again, Adrian had done a wonderful job – taking care of everyone\’s needs and comfort throughout the trip. With his expert guidance and dishing out camera\’s settings, I managed to bag some awesome and beautiful pictures. Big a thank you to you, Adrian! All team members had so much wonderful fun and laughter in the tour.
This was my first trip with SG Trekker. What a fabulous photography trip. Adrian planned the trip so we didn’t have to worry about logistics and made adjustments along the way depending on the weather so we could get the best possible photos. We all got great photos with his help and guidance of the milky way, star trails, Mt. Bromo and more. It is a tiring trip because of all the places that are planned to get the photos but it is worth it. The other photographers were wonderful and some are already planning trips together. The trip exceeded my expectations. I hope to join more trips with SG Trekker and highly recommend you take a trip with Adrian!
Fantastic planning by Adrian and the tour operator with attention to every detail. Trekkers fast and slow were well taken care of and never felt left behind. Care for not just the trekkers but the locals and environment was also of importance, which I find heartwarming. Thank you for this amazing experience!
